Quarry Pool & Spa is a luxurious family wellness retreat in West Yorkshire, designed to bring light, elegance, and a sense of calm to both the home and its gardens. Our client asked Studio H to transform the pool and spa area into a space that feels open, inviting, and seamlessly connected to the outdoors, including a hot tub and intimate seating area, allowing the home’s leisure spaces to extend naturally beyond its walls. Involved from an early stage and working closely with the pool installer and architects, we ensured that each area achieved its full aesthetic potential, with every room and element flowing harmoniously around the drama of the pool. The project was approached holistically, with a careful choreography of interior design, architecture, and lighting.
From concept to detailed design, we curated every element to create a luxurious, cohesive experience — from frameless boxed glazing and a bespoke lounge bar overlooking the pool, to the specification of the shower and steam room. Rich mosaic tiles complement textured natural stone and metallic finishes throughout, while carefully selected fixtures, furniture, and lighting bring the concept to life. Concealed and in-floor lighting extends outdoors to the hot tub, all integrated via Rako controls to allow pre-set scenes that adjust the mood and ambience with ease.
